The Quadrante Europa Park is a 70.000 sqm area, which was originally an old quarry, unused for about 20 years, with a 6.000 sqm lake. Over the next few years it will be extended to cover up to 100.000 sqm. The Consorzio ZAI has reclaimed the area to create a park to be used by the people of the city, sporting associations and particularly the citizens in the 4th constituency area. It has been completely fenced in and has two entrances; three keep-fit tracks with a total length of 3 kms have been built inside the park, each with a different level of difficulty.

The 1.000 metre long medium-difficulty track has been asphalted and lowered so as to reduce the environmental impact and is meant for walkers and cyclists. It is equipped with benches and waste bins in the seating areas; the lake is suitable for fishing and canoeing. About thirty different species of animal can be found in the Park.
At the present there is a public car parking place next to the Park and a 2.600 sqm parking area will be built with space for about 250 cars. There is a cycling path that links the S. Lucia Area to the Park; the 4th constituency has been entrusted with the management of the Park and will allow it to be used by citizens and sporting associations.
