 The telematic network is a project developed by Consorzio ZAI which has connected by cable each part of the Freight Village in 18 months' time.
The grid type used is a Fast Ethernet with optical fibre backbone that guarantees high level performance. Since January 2000 this system has allowed the 100 firms settled in the Freight Village to connect to internet and intranet networks, with the possibility for each firm to have his own web site and e-mail and to use new services under project in the future.
